Dragon Lion Dance Championship

On the weekend of August 4 and 5, 2017, Hao Dung Duong Lion Dance Society coordinates with Sun World Danang Wonders Amusement Complex in hosting the first Sun World Cup National Dragon Lion Dance Championship on the amusement park courtyard at 01 Phan Dang Luu Str., Danang.

29 most sophisticated dragon – lion dance troupes from throughout the country will participate in two competition categories of the Earth Treasure and the Ochna Valley. On the opening day of August 4, 13 troupes will vie in the category of the Ochna Valley while other 22 teams vie in the category of the Earth Treasure on August 5. The Jury will pick from each category troupes who win the First, Second and Third prizes and reward them the trophy, souvenir mascots and gifts. The awarding ceremony will be hosted on August 5, in coincidence with the closing ceremony.
