After nearly two decades, Sun World has emerged as Vietnam’s leading entertainment brand, associated with a portfolio of world-class tourism and recreation complexes spanning the country. Step by step, it has helped elevate Vietnam’s standing on the global tourism map. The way Sun World tells the unique story of each destination stands as a vivid testament to Sun Group’s philosophy of enhancing the beauty of Vietnam.
From its earliest days returning to Vietnam to start its entrepreneurial journey, Sun Group set for itself a mission: “Bringing Vietnam to the world and bringing the world to Vietnam.” Sun World—the entertainment brand created by Sun Group—serves as a tangible embodiment of that mission, transforming it into reality by telling the stories of regions across the country and developing leading entertainment complexes that are steadily reaching international standards.
This is why Sun World entertainment complexes have successively taken shape nationwide, captivating visitors with architectural landscapes and rich cultural expressions stretching from North to South. They are often likened to Vietnam’s own “Disneylands” or “Universal Studios.” Here, Vietnamese visitors can admire majestic natural scenery through world-record cable car systems, experience top-tier thrill rides, explore “World’s Leading Cultural Tourist Attractions,” and enjoy internationally acclaimed performances. Meanwhile, international visitors can immerse themselves in the authentic and vibrant cultural values of Vietnam in a single destination.
Sun World’s storytelling is defined by uncompromising quality and meticulous attention to detail, with a clear goal: bringing the world’s finest services and most beautiful designs back to Vietnam. The brand continuously seeks out and collaborates with global “giants”—the world’s top-tier partners—to co-create world-class projects, products, and services. Among them are architect Marco Casamonti, who designed the iconic conical-hat-inspired wine cellar at Ba Na Hills, and Susan Leyland, one of the UK and Europe’s leading equestrian sculptors, who created the four majestic horse statues at Sun Falls.
The extraordinary dedication of Sun Group is also evident in its transformation of rugged mountain landscapes into “kingdoms of flowers,” despite harsh climatic conditions at high altitudes. Sun World’s teams have quite literally “lived alongside the flowers,” spending up to two years researching and experimenting with plant varieties that can thrive across all four seasons. The result is breathtaking “flower valleys” suspended in the clouds at destinations such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Sun World Fansipan Legend, and Sun World Ba Den Mountain.
These tireless and persistent efforts have turned every Sun World project into a shining gem on the tourism map—each with its own story of resilience and aspiration to reach global heights.
In its journey of enhancing the beauty of Vietnam, Sun Group has developed hundreds of high-quality, distinctive projects across the country. Within this broader vision, the Sun World entertainment system has played a pivotal role in elevating Vietnam’s tourism industry—particularly the entertainment sector.
Among Sun World destinations, Sun World Ba Na Hills in Da Nang stands out as a flagship. Nearly two decades ago, the once-forgotten Ba Na mountain was awakened by a single-cable system that set two Guinness World Records, alongside the development of the French Village with its timeless architecture and Fantasy Park—the largest indoor amusement park in Vietnam.

In 2018, the debut of the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills sparked a global tourism phenomenon for Da Nang. Statistics from July 2018 showed that two out of every three international visitors booking tours to Da Nang chose the Golden Bridge as a must-visit destination. Each year, Sun World Ba Na Hills continues to astonish visitors with new world-class attractions and services, from the Moon Castle and Sun Falls to the Time Gate and Eclipse Square, alongside seasonal festivals and performances. Most recently, it introduced Da Nang’s first-ever cabaret show, “After Glow.”
Sun World Ba Na Hills has since garnered a series of prestigious accolades from the World Travel Awards (WTA), including “World’s Leading Iconic Tourist Attraction” and “Asia’s Leading Theme Park,” while the Golden Bridge was named “World’s Leading Iconic Tourist Bridge.” The destination has also contributed to Da Nang’s recognition among Asia’s top eight most remarkable destinations in 2025.

Following Da Nang, Sun Group brought Sun World Fansipan Legend to Sa Pa, Lao Cai. With a cable car system holding two world records connecting Sa Pa to the summit of Fansipan, a spiritual complex atop the mountain, modern funicular railways, and elaborate cultural performances reflecting the Northwest’s identity, the destination has transformed Sa Pa into one of Vietnam’s most compelling travel hubs. It has also elevated the region’s tourism brand globally, earning WTA titles such as “World’s Leading Cultural Tourist Attraction” and “World’s Leading Natural Landscape Tourist Destination.”
Similarly, the launch of Sun World Ha Long in 2016 created a transformative impact on tourism in Quang Ninh. Previously, the heritage city of Ha Long offered limited entertainment beyond beach activities and seafood. Today, visitors often need at least two days to fully experience the diverse entertainment complex, which includes Dragon Park with its thrilling rides, Typhoon Water Park with vibrant tropical slides, and Sun Hill featuring the iconic Sun Wheel overlooking the majestic Ha Long Bay.

In Tay Ninh, Sun Group has elevated Ba Den Mountain with the increasingly attractive Sun World Ba Den Mountain. The addition of record-breaking cable car systems, the Ba Den Tay Bo Son Buddha statue complex—recognized by the Asia Records Organization as the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia—and the Maitreya Bodhisattva statue assembled from 6,688 sandstone pieces, along with remarkable landscape transformations, has turned the site into one of southern Vietnam’s most compelling destinations.
On Phu Quoc Island, Sun World Hon Thom delivers spectacular experiences, from panoramic views aboard the world’s longest three-rope sea-crossing cable car to an international-standard entertainment ecosystem. Highlights include the large-scale multimedia show “Kiss of the Sea,” the vibrant Aquatopia Water Park, themed attractions, and immersive spaces for festivals, cuisine, and tropical arts.

Most recently, new additions have completed the evolving Sun World landscape across Vietnam: Sun World Cat Ba in Hai Phong, opening new pathways to bring heritage nature closer to global visitors; Sun World Ha Nam, Vietnam’s first water park themed around traditional water puppetry, designed into seven zones inspired by famous folk performances; and Sun World Sam Son in Thanh Hoa, a water park inspired by Vietnamese folklore such as the legend of Son Tinh–Thuy Tinh and the Muong epic “The Birth of Land and Water.”
The presence of each Sun World destination not only ensures that “Vietnamese travelers no longer need to go abroad for world-class theme park experiences,” but also represents a proud journey for Sun Group in realizing its philosophy of enhancing the beauty of Vietnam and fulfilling its mission of bringing Vietnam to the world—and the world to Vietnam.
