Unique spiritual experiences powered by modern technology, exclusively at Ba Den Mountain.
Discover the Buddhist universe through 3D mapping technology
This is one of the most unique experiences at the Ba Den mountain peak, where visitors have the opportunity to learn about and explore the universe in Buddhist cosmology through world-leading modern projection and sound technology and equipment. The video mapping screening area is located on the 1st floor of the Buddhist exhibition center, at the foot of the Tay Bo Da Son Lady Buddha statue.
3D mapping projection area
Visitors will be guided into the area displaying 163 Buddha statues amidst a solemn and tranquil space. The dome of this area will become a giant screen with a diameter of 20 meters and a Dome resolution of up to 16 million pixels (equivalent to 26 million pixels of a conventional screen), narrating to the audience the movement of the universe, vividly recreated using 3D mapping technology.
Ms. Anh Hoa (Ho Chi Minh City) shared: “I was truly overwhelmed when watching the film. The large screen and vivid images made viewers clearly feel the proliferation of every sprout and the compassionate light of the Buddha shining. This is truly a film I can watch over and over again without getting bored”.
Admire national treasures through 3D Hologram technology
3D hologram is a technology that creates a three-dimensional image floating in the air, allowing viewers to observe a 360-degree floating image without the need for a screen or specialized glasses. The projected image appears as an object floating in mid-air, allowing observation with the naked eye without glasses, creating a unique visual effect.
3D Hologram technology recreates models of 16 famous pagodas in Vietnam
This technology is currently applied on the 2nd floor of the Buddhist Exhibition Area on Ba Den mountain peak, helping visitors have the opportunity to explore and admire ancient pagodas in Vietnam through vivid realistic images. There are 16 modern Hologram projection devices here, where visitors can admire models of 16 famous pagodas in Vietnam such as: Bo Da pagoda, Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Phat Tich pagoda, Huong pagoda, But Thap pagoda, Thien Mu pagoda… These are pagodas dating back from 200 years, which preserve ancient architectural styles, valuable ancient artifacts, have beautiful and famous campuses, and represent different regions and are recognized as National historical sites.
Prayer Wheel Pillar (prayer wheel) at the Buddhist exhibition area
Also here, visitors can visit the special room of prayer wheel pillars (prayer wheels) - a type of ritual implement used by Tibetan Buddhist devotees for practice and chanting. With each turn of the wheel, the turner will be blessed with the spiritual power of all the mantras inside the cylinder. Therefore, it is believed that turning the prayer wheel can accumulate immeasurable merit in the simplest way; merely touching the prayer wheel is considered a great purification in removing karmic obstacles.
Admire the mountain peak at night with the most modern lighting system in Vietnam
Visiting Ba Den mountain peak in the evening is becoming an attractive experience chosen by many tourists, not only because of the quiet atmosphere and cool climate, but also because of the artistic lighting system that brings an incredibly magical light show.
Designed by Architect Shin Takamatsu - who was awarded the highest prize by the Japan Institute of Architects, the "father" of the "non-existence" philosophy - this system not only fulfills its usual lighting function but more importantly, it presents an artistic "night picture" for viewers to admire.
Ba Den Mountain complex shimmering at night with over 3500 lights
This artistic lighting system is created by over 3,500 LED lights illuminating the mountaintop. Standing in the central square, visitors only need to look up to see the majestic and magical Lady Buddha statue; looking out in the four directions reveals a 'giant' LED screen on the mountaintop with 29 modules and over 480 floor-embedded lights, allowing for artistic light performances with Buddhist symbolic images such as the Swastika symbol, lotus flowers... This can be considered the LED screen installed synchronously at the highest altitude in Vietnam to date.
Not only is it flexibly controlled according to time, adjusted seasonally for brightness, and synchronized with optical sensor systems to enhance flexibility and increase electricity saving capabilities; the lighting system on Ba Den Mountain is also operated according to the 'People-centric' trend, with the premise of being friendly to human health and psychological state through balancing artificial and natural elements.
Worship the Prajnaparamita Sutra Pillars Inscribed with Gold
This unique structure is located in the central area of the complex of spiritual architectural works on the mountaintop. The cluster consists of 5 sutra pillars made of black kim sa granite, carved with the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra in Tibetan script, among which, the largest sutra pillar has a diameter of 2m and a height of 19.8m, and 4 smaller pillars have a diameter of 1.6m and a height of 9m. Notably, 12,000 sutra characters are all gilded. The base of the pillars begins from the underground Dharma lecture hall and extends straight up to the sky.
Gilded Prajna Sutra Pillar Cluster
For practitioners, the Prajna Sutra is the torch illuminating the path to enlightenment. Therefore, the majestic sutra pillar rises from the heart of the sacred Tay Ninh mountain, transcending material form, reaching towards the sky as an embodiment of detachment, aiming for wisdom and serenity, conveying the profound meaning of the path to enlightenment. The pilgrimage journey to worship Nui Ba will also be a journey of expanding wisdom, stabilizing the mind, to gain merit, good fortune, and peace.
