Sun World Hon Thom is a world-class entertainment complex located in southern Phu Quoc, spanning Hon Thom Island and Sunset Town, and connected by the world’s longest three-rope cable car system. The destination brings together some of the island’s most exceptional experiences—from internationally acclaimed shows and vibrant water parks to captivating theme parks, as well as rich spaces for festivals, cuisine, and tropical-inspired arts.
From the An Thoi (Sunset Town) cable car station, the journey begins aboard the world’s longest three-rope cable car, carrying visitors across the vast seascape of southern Phu Quoc. Along the way, sweeping views unfold—endless blue waters, lush islets, and colorful fishing boats dotting the horizon.
As the cable car descends onto Hon Thom Island, it opens up a world of boundless excitement—where world-class entertainment complexes are set amidst pristine nature, framed by stunning tropical beaches and ancient coconut groves.

The complex is divided into two main zones: Aquatopia Water Park—one of Asia’s leading water parks—and the mysterious Exotica Village, together creating a multi-layered journey of experiences for visitors of all ages.
Inspired by the tale of explorers discovering a hidden tropical island—home to a rare, mythical fruit symbolizing freedom and eternal happiness—Sun World Hon Thom unfolds a series of immersive adventures. Here, visitors are invited to connect with the raw beauty of nature through a blend of entertainment, culture, and thrilling exploration.
According to the story, during ancient voyages across the southern seas, explorers chanced upon Hon Thom—an emerald gem rising from the ocean, a pristine island blanketed in lush tropical forests. At its heart lay a legendary fruit known as the “Tropical Heart,” embodying freedom and everlasting happiness. This mystical force was believed to preserve the island’s balance, where all living beings possessed a spirit—from talking trees and giant insects to mythical creatures.
To protect the Tropical Heart from those driven by greed, the island’s inhabitants—both creatures and native tribes—created a series of challenges, welcoming only the bravest, purest, and most free-spirited adventurers.
The journey begins at Aquatopia Water Park, where visitors can take on a lineup of high-thrill attractions making their debut in Vietnam, such as “Serpent’s Fury,” “Sea Dragon Cruise,” and “Wave Rider.” With 20 adrenaline-pumping slides, the park offers challenges designed for even the boldest explorers.
At Aquatopia, young adventurers are also welcomed into a vibrant, ocean-inspired world. Children can freely explore playful zones themed around charming marine creatures, including Flying Fish, Starfish Race, and Little Sea Snake. Each attraction is thoughtfully designed to be safe, colorful, and engaging—offering kids their own joyful and imaginative journey through the wonders of the sea.

Another must-visit destination at Sun World Hon Thom is the mysterious Exotica Village. Kicking off the adventure is “Roaring Timber Serpent”—Vietnam’s first wooden roller coaster. Constructed from 1,000 cubic meters of specially imported timber from the United States, the ride features twisting turns and speeds of up to 80 km/h, delivering a breathtaking experience where suspense and exhilaration intertwine at every curve.
The journey then takes visitors skyward to the “Eagle’s Eye,” a 360-degree observation point offering sweeping panoramic views of Hon Thom Island. From this elevated vantage point, nature reveals itself in all its grandeur and clarity—endless stretches of white sand like flowing silk, crystal-clear waters shimmering under the sun, and fishing boats gently rising and falling with the waves. In the vast expanse of the southern sea and sky, visitors find themselves drifting into a rare moment of serenity and reflection.
For younger explorers, Exotica Village offers a lively playground filled with imaginative, jungle-inspired adventures. Attractions such as “Battle of the Beetles,” “Rebel Quail Eggs,” and “Jungle Expedition” bring vibrant colors and playful storytelling to life, creating an energetic and joyful exploration journey.
After a day of vibrant experiences on Hon Thom Island, Sun World Hon Thom continues to unfold a completely new dimension at Sunset Town—the cultural and artistic heart of southern Phu Quoc. As dusk settles, the entire area comes alive, illuminated by world-class artistic spectacles.

Foremost among them is “Symphony of the Sea”—a spectacular show of light, fireworks, and extreme sports, produced and staged by two of the world’s leading names in performance arts: H2O Events and LaserVision. The show is a breathtaking fusion of music, lighting, fireworks, and world-class performances by champion and runner-up athletes in jetski and flyboard disciplines. As night falls, set to timeless musical compositions, the Phu Quoc sky transforms into a living canvas—where light and fireworks come together to create a one-of-a-kind feast for the senses.
And of course, no visit to Phu Quoc is complete without experiencing “Kiss of the Sea”—one of the world’s largest and most ambitious multimedia shows. This masterpiece delivers a dazzling spectacle of fire, water, light, 3D mapping technology, music, and stage performance, brought to life by 60 international artists. The experience reaches its crescendo with a grand fireworks finale, painting the night sky of Phu Quoc with a radiant galaxy—where the emotions of thousands of spectators converge in a soaring symphony between sea and sky.
