Free shuttle bus from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills

To make the journey to Ba Na Hills more convenient, Sun World Ba Na Hills is officially piloting a free shuttle bus service from August 8 to December 31, 2026, providing direct transfers from central Da Nang to the resort.

The shuttle bus departs from Novotel Danang, stopping at East Sea Park, the stop opposite My Khe Beach (next to DLG Hotel), the stop opposite Vegas Club, and the passenger pick-up area at 99 Vo Nguyen Giap, before continuing to Sun World Ba Na Hills. The journey takes approximately 75–80 minutes each way.

The free shuttle bus to Ba Na Hills operates two morning departures.

There are two outbound departures at 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, while two return services depart from the resort at 3:00 PM. To avoid missing the bus, guests should arrive at the pick-up point approximately 15 minutes before departure, as the service operates according to a fixed schedule and only picks up passengers at designated stops. No roadside pick-ups are available.

With this new shuttle bus service, getting from the heart of Da Nang to the misty mountain summit is now more convenient than ever, particularly for individual travelers, families, and groups of young friends who do not have access to their own transportation.

Also from September 1, 2026, Sun World Ba Na Hills will officially integrate all ticket benefits directly into a single QR code, completely replacing the paper coupons previously distributed at the Citadel Gate. This marks an important step in digital transformation, simplifying operations while enhancing the overall guest experience.

With just one QR code on a cable car ticket or e-ticket, guests can unlock a range of benefits throughout their journey: scan the code at the entrance to access the cable car and ascend to the cloud-covered summit; scan to enter Taiga or Bon Mua buffet restaurants directly (for applicable combo tickets); or scan to redeem one of three included dining benefits: two refreshing 250ml Sun KraftBeer beers, one serving of crispy French fries at Ba Na Brew House, or one of three handcrafted French pastries — Croissant, Pain au Chocolat, or Raisins Danish — at Eric Kayser bakery.

From cable car access and buffet dining to attractive complimentary treats, everything is now brought together under a single QR code, eliminating the need to keep track of multiple paper coupons that could easily be misplaced.

A fully digital experience with Sun Paradise Land

Beyond digitizing ticket benefits, Sun World Ba Na Hills is also expanding a range of smart services on the Sun Paradise Land app, with the goal of creating a more modern and sophisticated destination experience.

One of the standout features is eMap, which serves as a practical digital companion, allowing guests to view the digital map, find their way around, and quickly locate attractions, restaurants, and services across the resort's expansive grounds. Guests are encouraged to download the app before or during their visit so they can plan and navigate their journey with greater ease.

Guests aged 25 and under can enjoy up to 50% off cable car tickets and cable car combos with buffet or dining sets.

From September 1, 2026, the WOWPAY feature is expected to be officially launched, allowing guests to top up with cash at kiosks around the resort and receive a QR payment code. The code can then be used across service points throughout the destination, eliminating the need to carry large amounts of cash while making payments faster and spending easier to manage.

Alongside these operational improvements, Sun World Ba Na Hills is also offering a special promotion for young travelers this summer. Until August 15, 2026, guests born in 2001 or later can enjoy the following promotional prices: cable car tickets from 500,000 VND; cable car + lunch buffet combo at 800,000 VND; and cable car + dining voucher combo at 750,000 VND.
