The shrien is dedicated to the Mountain God with characteristic decorative patterns and motifs of Tran Dynasty.
Mountains symbolize both height and the central point. Given its features of height, erect position and proximity to the sky, mountains are embedded in the realm of supernatural forces as the center of phenomenal epiphany in the strastosphere, and a variety of divine appearances of deities. In addition, mountains are also heavily mentioned in Vietnamese folk tales, most notably the Mountain God – Water God legend that proves definitely familiar with any Vietnamese nationals. On the Mammoth Mountain in its prime location and the “dragon vein” of the Blue Dragon and White Tiger, the Moutain God Shrine is meant to deter anyone that people should preserve invaluable relics, our underground mineral water resources for the sake of our generations to come.
