South of Phu Quoc Island is becoming a tourist hotspot during the September 2nd National Day holiday, with a vibrant atmosphere of flags and flowers at Sunset Town, featuring a giant flag of over 500m2, the spectacular "Kiss of the Sea" show with nightly fireworks, and the bustling Vui Phet night market.

For the September 2nd holiday, Hoang Hon Town - Sunset Town and Sun World Hon Thom tourist area have donned a new look for the grand holiday. All streets, squares, and famous check-in spots were adorned with red flags with yellow stars, attracting tourists for check-ins, joining the jubilant atmosphere celebrating Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd.

Most prominent in Sunset Town these days is the Vietnam national flag, over 500 m2 in area, solemnly hung in front of the Outdoor Theater, which possesses the world's largest water screen and capacity - Kiss of the Sea. The crimson national flag fluttering in the middle of the sea square made thousands of visitors present emotional and joyful in national pride.

Especially on September 2, 2025, hundreds of employees of Sun Group corporation were present before the large flag, organizing a solemn flag-raising ceremony. At the same time, a large LED screen at Sun World Hon Thom broadcast live the A80 military parade in Hanoi capital, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day. A large number of international tourists present expressed their impression and emotion with this scene.

"I was truly surprised to witness the image of the giant flag and thousands of flags decorated brilliantly everywhere. I was deeply moved by the love of Vietnamese people for the flag, and more importantly, their intense patriotism," shared Anna Roberts, a tourist from the UK.

At many corners of the town, the tourist area prepares touchpoint activities such as drawing conical hats with the red flag and yellow star, and a spot to write wishes from tourists. Numerous international visitors came here, together drawing conical hats, assembling them into a map of Vietnam, as well as leaving wishes for this significant anniversary.

Every evening, Vui Phet night market is bustling with the footsteps of tourists. Not only enjoying rich cuisine and shopping experiences, visitors also immerse themselves in vibrant street performances, carrying the spirit of island festivals.

Each stall here meticulously decorates its space and dishes according to the A80 theme, as a way to share love and pride for the grand occasion with international friends.

Especially every evening, the "Kiss of the Sea" show becomes a "magnet" attracting visitors from all directions. Besides the impressive performance technology of fire, water, laser, light, music… the show also "captures the hearts" of all visitors with its nightly artistic fireworks performance.

During the holiday, before and during the "Kiss of the Sea" show, a nearly 1,000 m2 water screen is once again adorned with the red flag with a yellow star, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind check-in space.
