Why Symphony of the Sea Season 3 is set to be Phu Quoc’s year-end blockbuster
How memorable can one night in Phu Quoc be? With Symphony of the Sea Season 3, the answer is starting to emerge in the numbers: a 3,000-square-meter floating fireworks platform, a 200-meter-long stage, three times as many fireworks as last season, and a Jet Ski fleet expanding from six to 14.
Across the same expanse of sea, light, music and high-adrenaline water sports will all be given more room to unfold, creating a larger canvas for the show — and more opportunities to take the audience’s emotions to new heights.

Symphony of the Sea Season 3 is expanding its offshore performance stage, setting the scene for one of Phu Quoc’s standout nighttime experiences this year-end.
Scheduled to debut in its new format on November 10, 2026, just as Phu Quoc enters the best travel season of the year, Symphony of the Sea Season 3 is offering visitors a new reason to make room for Sunset Town in their plans.
First-time guests will have another reason to dedicate an evening to the waterfront destination. Those who have already seen the first two seasons, meanwhile, will have an incentive to return as the familiar stage is expanded for a bigger, more ambitious production.
DIFF champion joins the production as fireworks triple in scale
The first major highlight of Season 3 is its fireworks program, with China’s Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display taking part in the creative design.
The team, which won the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) and finished runner-up at DIFF 2026, will help give a new visual identity to a show that has been drawing growing attention to Phu Quoc across domestic and international travel forums.
Having already impressed audiences on the DIFF stage, Jiangxi Yangfeng brings expectations of fast-paced, high-energy displays built around multi-layered fireworks and tightly choreographed sequences.
Transferred to Symphony of the Sea’s expanded offshore stage, that style is expected to produce even more dramatic crescendos — from effects skimming close to the water to bursts of light opening high above the night sky.

Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display of China — winner of DIFF 2025 and runner-up at DIFF 2026 — will take part in designing the fireworks performance for Symphony of the Sea Season 3.
To accommodate the new production, the floating platform used to stage the fireworks will expand from 840 square meters to 3,000 square meters, more than 3.5 times its previous size. The performance stage itself will grow from 70 meters to 200 meters across the sea, while the amount of fireworks will triple compared with last season.
What audiences can expect, then, is not simply more fireworks.
The larger performance area will allow effects to spread horizontally and unfold at multiple heights, sending light across a much wider stretch of the night sky. Reflections across the water will further expand the visual field, placing spectators in the middle of a sea-and-sky spectacle of light.
Against the same backdrop, the show’s extreme-sports lineup is also growing, with around 30 performers expected to take part each night, supported by 14 Jet Skis and eight Flyboards.
High-speed runs and intersecting formations across the water will alternate with aerial lifts, spins and acrobatic maneuvers, constantly shifting the rhythm of the performance between sea and sky.

The Jet Ski and Flyboard performances are also being refreshed in both scale and visual effects.
Flyboard acts are expected to incorporate additional effects including spinning pyrotechnics, streamer-style fireworks and enhanced lighting. As performers rise above the water, their movements will merge with trails of light, adding another visual layer to the show’s biggest moments.
This is also the part of the experience that makes seeing the show in person especially compelling.
A video can capture the arc of a Flyboard or the colors of a fireworks display, but it can rarely reproduce the full sensation of engines roaring across the water, music reverberating through the venue and performers moving through the air just meters away.
With Season 3 expanding both across the water and into the sky, Symphony of the Sea is promising more of those moments when audiences may be tempted to put their phones away and simply watch.
An evening worth setting aside on a Phu Quoc itinerary
With the new elements now being unveiled, Symphony of the Sea Season 3 has plenty of reasons to become an evening visitors plan for in advance during a trip to Phu Quoc.
After a day spent exploring the island, travelers can head to Sunset Town for the evening, choose how they want to experience the show and watch the waterfront shift into an entirely different rhythm after dark.
From the grandstand or the beach, the appeal lies in being able to focus fully on the action: Jet Ski formations sweeping across the water, Flyboard performers rising into the air and successive layers of fireworks lighting up the sky.
For groups of friends, families or couples, it can become a shared experience — one where everyone waits for the next surprise, reacts together and keeps talking about the evening long after the trip is over.

Sun Bavaria GastroPub — recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest beachfront beer restaurant — allows guests to enjoy a buffet of nearly 100 dishes while taking in panoramic views of Symphony of the Sea.
Sun Bavaria GastroPub, recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest beachfront beer restaurant, offers another way to experience the show through a dinner-show format, pairing an evening meal with one of the best vantage points overlooking the performance area at sea.
The buffet menu is set to expand to nearly 100 dishes, bringing together a broad mix of Asian and European cuisines.
Due to launch in its upgraded format on November 10, 2026, Symphony of the Sea Season 3 is gradually revealing the scale of its return: creative input from the DIFF 2025 champions, three times the fireworks and a larger extreme-sports cast.
For travelers heading to Phu Quoc at the end of the year, it is the kind of evening worth setting aside in advance — so that, after the trip, the sight of fireworks blazing above the sea belongs to their own memories rather than to a video glimpsed from someone else’s holiday.
