Pink French pastries, portrait-printed coffee and more experiences for women in Phu Quoc this October 20
To mark Vietnamese Women’s Day this year, attractions, restaurants and cafes across Hon Thom and Sunset Town are rolling out special experiences and gifts for female visitors. At each stop, women can expect a little surprise, from buttery cookies and fresh roses to coffee printed with their own portrait or a festive drink served on the waterfront.
“Radiant Grace” buffet on the “island within an island”
An October 20 journey through southern Phu Quoc can begin in the morning with a ride on the world’s longest three-wire cable car, offering sweeping views over the emerald waters of the An Thoi archipelago.
From 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on October 19 and 20, female guests at the Hon Thom cable car departure station will be welcomed with heart-shaped cookies as a sweet gesture for Vietnamese Women’s Day.

Enjoying the “Radiant Grace” buffet at Mango Buffet on Hon Thom is one of the must-try experiences for women celebrating October 20 in Phu Quoc.
After a morning of thrills at Aquatopia Water Park and adventures around Exotica Village, lunch at Mango Buffet offers families, couples and groups of friends a chance to slow down and recharge. For the occasion, the restaurant is introducing a themed dining programme, “Radiant Grace,” with special dishes and drinks created for October 20.
In the airy tropical setting, diners can enjoy a varied spread ranging from steamed Ca Mau crab and garlic-butter grilled tiger prawns to grilled US beef with green pepper sauce and a whole salmon fillet roasted with herbs and served with dill sauce.
Female guests will also be treated to a “Rose Lady” mocktail, heart-shaped strawberry mousse cake, chocolates and rose-shaped macarons. Those who head to Santo Beach Club after lunch can enjoy another complimentary treat: a fruit soda infused with the venue’s signature butterfly pea syrup.
French-style afternoon tea during “Pink Month”
Back in Sunset Town as the afternoon sun begins to soften, visitors can settle in for tea and sea views at Maison Éric Kayser. From October 5 through 30, the French artisan bakery is celebrating “Pink Month” with a limited-edition collection of pink pastries.

Maison Éric Kayser’s pink pastry collection blends French baking techniques with tropical fruit flavours, adding a colourful highlight to October afternoon tea.
The appeal of Pink Month lies in the combination of classic French pastry craftsmanship and tropical flavours. At a table overlooking the sea, guests can try the Macaronade, featuring a crisp, airy pink shell filled with silky cream and tart, juicy raspberries.
The Guava Flower Cake and Lychee Flower Cake are shaped into delicate petals, bringing together the fragrance of pink guava and the gentle sweetness of lychee. Also on the menu are the Pink Saint-Honoré, finished with glossy pink caramel, and the Raspberry Éclair, accented with shimmering pink chocolate — adding both visual flair and a wider range of flavours to the afternoon tea spread.
On October 20, alongside the Pink Month collection, Maison Éric Kayser will give every female guest a cookie and a greeting card.
Portrait-printed coffee and hand-drawn cards at the “upside-down” cafe
Another afternoon option in Sunset Town is Apollo Cafe, known for its distinctive “upside-down town” design. On October 20, the cafe is adding two special experiences: printing photos directly onto drinks and creating hand-drawn greeting cards for loved ones.

A portrait-printed coffee at Apollo Cafe is one of the experiences created especially for October 20 in Sunset Town.
Alongside a combo featuring one drink and one pastry, Apollo Cafe will offer complimentary image printing on beverages topped with a smooth cream layer. Female guests can choose a favourite portrait to have printed directly onto their drink.
Paired with a fresh rose and a greeting card designed by the cafe, the personalised drink also makes for a playful photo opportunity during the holiday.

With its eye-catching “upside-down town” design, Apollo Cafe makes for a visually striking stop on an October 20 itinerary in Sunset Town.
The cafe will also provide cards, pens and colouring materials so guests can write personal messages and decorate a card by hand. With just a few sketches and a heartfelt note, visitors can create a thoughtful gift while taking a break over coffee.
From either Apollo Cafe or Maison Éric Kayser, it takes only a few minutes on foot to reach Kiss Bridge in time for sunset, ending the afternoon with one of Phu Quoc’s most romantic signature views.
An evening at the world’s largest seaside beer restaurant
As night falls and lights begin to glow along the sloping streets of Sunset Town, Sun Bavaria GastroPub brings a livelier atmosphere to the October 20 celebrations. Recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest seaside beer restaurant, the venue features an open-air waterfront setting suited to family dinners, gatherings with friends and date nights alike.

Fireworks viewed from Sun Bavaria GastroPub provide a memorable finale to a day in Phu Quoc — and a romantic moment for couples celebrating October 20.
On October 19 and 20, every female guest visiting Sun Bavaria GastroPub will be welcomed with a fresh rose, a cookie and a specially crafted mocktail created for the occasion.
Beyond the festive gifts, diners can enjoy grilled dishes, sip drinks and soak up the music right by the sea. Sun Bavaria GastroPub is also one of the best vantage points for Symphony of the Sea, a high-energy show featuring dramatic jet-ski and flyboard performances combined with laser effects and artistic fireworks.
After dinner, the evening can continue with the Kiss of the Sea show and a high-altitude fireworks display.
From a day of fun on Hon Thom Island to afternoon tea, sunset viewing and dinner in Sunset Town, visitors can mix and match stops to suit their interests. The special experiences and gifts created for October 20 offer even more reasons to plan a short getaway to southern Phu Quoc with the women who matter most.
