NOTICE: Fansipan Cable Car officially resumes operation from September 28

To ensure that every approximately 15-minute cable car journey to the summit of Fansipan is safe and provides visitors with the best possible experience, extensive maintenance work was carried out at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. Around 30 engineers and specialists directly participated in inspecting the technical components, including international experts who have accompanied the cable car system since its early construction.

In temperatures of around 10–15°C, every cable, connection, and technical component was carefully inspected. After hundreds of hours of work, the entire maintenance process has now been completed, and the Fansipan Cable Car is ready to welcome visitors back from today.

From September 28, the Fansipan Cable Car resumes service according to its current operating schedule. From Monday to Thursday, the cable car welcomes passengers traveling to Fansipan Summit from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the last trip back at 4:00 PM. On Friday, trips to the summit operate from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the last return trip at 5:00 PM. On Saturday, the cable car operates from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with the last return trip at 5:00 PM. On Sunday, trips to the summit are available from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with the last return trip at 4:00 PM. Operating hours may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and actual operating circumstances. Visitors are advised to check the latest information before their trip to plan their journey accordingly.

With the Fansipan Cable Car back in operation, the journey to explore the “Roof of Indochina” continues amid the distinctive autumn and winter scenery of Vietnam’s Northwest highlands. Visitors can once again glide above the Hoang Lien mountains, hunt for spectacular seas of clouds, and enjoy the crisp mountain air at the summit of Fansipan. Sun World Fansipan Legend warmly welcomes visitors back to continue the journey to conquer Fansipan at an altitude of 3,143 meters from today, September 28.
