Sun World Fansipan Legend officially reopens from December 13th, after a period of annual routine technical inspection, ready to welcome tourists during the most beautiful winter of the year with super promotions.

The Roof of Indochina - Fansipan is entering one of the busiest tourist seasons of the year, as many tourists choose this place to "hunt" for seas of clouds or ice and snow amidst the majestic scenery of the Northwest mountains.

To welcome and thank visitors during the peak tourist season, Sun World Fansipan Legend launches a special offer program exclusively for visitors of Vietnamese nationality. Accordingly, the cable car ticket price is applied at a flat rate of 500,000 VND per person (40% discount), valid from December 13th until the end of 2025. This is considered an opportunity for many domestic tourists to experience Fansipan during its beautiful season, at a reasonable cost.

Right on the first day of its reopening, the Hoang Lien departure station area recorded a bustling atmosphere with the appearance of many families, groups of young people, and tourists from major provinces, cities, and internationally. The journey on the Fansipan cable car continues to impress with its smooth travel experience, taking tourists across Muong Hoa valley and the overlapping mountain slopes of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range in just about 15 minutes. From the cabin, tourists can fully admire the view, from the deep green mountains and forests to the leisurely drifting clouds surrounding the mountain slopes.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh, a tourist from Hanoi, said her family had proactively arranged the trip precisely for the occasion of the cable car's reopening. "At the end of the year, everyone wants to find a place that is both beautiful and peaceful to relax. Fansipan in winter is very different, not too crowded, the air is fresh; reaching the summit, one just wants to slow down and feel it. Today my family is very lucky to be able to admire the sea of clouds at the summit in the clear sunny weather," she shared.

Not only attracting domestic tourists, Fansipan in the year-end days is also a stopover for many international tourists traveling in Northern Vietnam. Pierre Lambert, a tourist from France, said he was impressed with the change in landscape with altitude. “In just a short distance, you can see forests, clouds, then the very characteristic high mountain space. Winter makes everything quiet and very pleasant,” he said.

The spiritual cultural complex on the Fansipan peak continues to be a highlight of the journey, especially in the year-end days. The space for worship amidst the mountains and forests brings a sense of peace, a place where many tourists stop to pray for peace, health, and good things for the new year. Amidst the thin mist and the gentle sound of wind chimes, the Fansipan spiritual complex in winter possesses a serene and sacred beauty.

Along with the Fansipan cable car and mountain train resuming operation from December 13, the Muong Hoa mountain train route will resume operation from December 15, contributing to the completion of the experience chain bringing tourists from the center of Sa Pa town to the cable car departure station.

The return of the Fansipan cable car this winter, along with extended preferential policies, is expected to create a boost for Sa Pa tourism at the end of the year, while also giving tourists a compelling reason to set off, slow down amidst the mountains and forests of the Northwest, and close the old year with memorable experiences on the 'Roof of Indochina'.
